Hi guys!

This is the second spec check I've asked for but the first one didn't happen due to funding needed elsewhere! :(

So it's time to commit, I now have the funds I need and I'm about to order tomorrow!

Now I think that is everything included apart from a 2.1 music system which I'll get in the future. I've been lurking on these forums for ages picking up information as much as possible on computers, the whole PC is virtually for gaming and a small amount of Blu-ray/DVD viewing.

Now I'd like to ask a few questions..

Do I need any extra cables? I noticed on the 680 it needs two 6 pin PCI-E connectors, on the PSU they supple 8 pin connectors? Could someone explain?
Will it all work together? Does everything connect together and would work as well?
What if I order out of stock parts? Will I still recieve them? Just at a later date or is it worth waiting until they are back in stock?

Thanks for reading and please do put your thoughts into this, I do need some help but I'm very happy with what I have chosen and don't think I can be persuaded otherwise!

Help appreciated!

Well it's not very expensive at the moment, plus it wouldn't do any harm having 16GB as it will future proof it hopefully. With the SSD, I'm happy with the size, it's perfect for a boot drive and can store many games on there. I'll have the HD for the other games, which will be less used. Would anyone be able to tell me about the PCI-E cables I mentioned in the first post?

I'm still a bit lost :(

Thanks for the responses guys! Really appreciated :)

why the 680? the 670 is every bit as good and cheaper unless youve got money to burn I wouldnt get it. Use the extra money to get a bigger ssd like the sammy 256 thats on offer at the moment

Also have you considered the samsung green memory it supposed to be very good
