Final thoughts before completing new build - which 1060 6GB?

Don't go for a blower cooler (the ASUS) unless you're using 2 cards in SLI.

A blower cooler will always be louder and worse at cooling than a 2 or 3 fan, large heatsink type.
 
I'd prefer to stick with Nvidia plus my budget is already fully stretched. Think I'll be fine with the 1060 for 1080 p.
 
Just found a very positive review of the KFA on a site called Mad Shrimps. Most other reviews aren't in English.
Seems like a solid piece of kit plus the price is right.
 
As someone who actually owns the Asus one, I can confidently say that it's extremely quiet and runs very cool. I deliberately chose it because I wanted a cooler that would exhaust the warm air out of the case.
 
All good so far. BF1 looks amazing I must say. Haven't monitored temps or anything on the card but it is very quiet. Haven't had a major gaming session yet but seems the business.
