Okay, so i managed to get everything in the case all good..

But not a clue which wires go in where...

Any help? :eek::confused:

Thanks.

If you're talking about the case buttons/activity lights then I can feel your pain, they are complete ^%"£(*&$*('s to fit.

Take a look in the motherboard manual and try to match them up as best you can.

Seem to be doing alright. Not very confident.. :rolleyes: I have BIOS to dread after this too.. Not a clue what to do with that either..

Its simple, and not something to stress about so long as you remember to RTFM. ;):rolleyes:

It should label and explain all your connections clearly. There's basically Power LED, On switch, Reset Swith, HDD activity, Front USB & Front Audio. Diagrams in your mobo manual will show the location of each. If you dont have a manual, chances are there's a .PDF file of it on the manufacturers website. All your case wires should be labeled to, making it easy to differentiate from one another.

As for the BIOS, you shouldn't have to touch it unless your overclocking or tweaking?

The PSU manual should tell you all about which connector goes to which.

The main ones are:

4-pin molex - for 5.25" & 3.5" devices like optical drives and hard drives (though some newer HDDs only come with SATA power plug.

24-pin ATX - goes to the motherboard, just look for the big long connector on the right edge of motherboard.

4-pin square 12V+ - also goes to the motherboard, the connector is usually around CPU socket.

S-ATA power - only used for SATA hard drives and optical drives. Some SATA drives also come with standard 4-pin molex as well.

6-pin PCI-E - goes to the grapihcs card, 8800GTX will require 2 of these.

check the connectors and have a close look at the mobo, most times you should be able to get an idea of what goes where.

and as already mentioned, if you have one, check the manual ;)
