Finalised decisions Help!

Hello guys, I have been looking at some graphics cards to buy but I really need some help deciding. My first option is the 770 as I have heard very good reviews from many people saying the cooler (acx) and the card overall has great build quality. Below is some alternative, the 290 is higher but is it overkill for 1080p ?
I would like to keep the price low if the card is more than enough for 1080p, I mainly play BF4 as well as other games such as gta iv and fifa 14

R9 280x Toxic
R9 290 (loud and hot :S)
R9 270x (CF) - problems ?
Gtx 770 scx

I will be planing on water cooling arround this time next year so I'm not sure if I can resist the 290, also I think if May be too overkill as I'm not thinking about upgrading to 1440p anytime soon either.

What's the maximum you're prepared to spend?

What cpu do you have, and is it overclocked?

Do you have a good quality psu?

I mainly play BF4

Mantle support was delayed, if you can hang back a bit, the 280 Toxic with a Mantle speed bump could be the BF4 bbfb gpu@1080p.

i have a 4670k and a Antec HCG 750w psu, I would rather spend arround £270

i think i will go with the 290 guys, but which 290 will you reccomend? i will be watercooling next year so i guess i will have to put up with the noise it makes
