Way to prove my point. You're assuming that our levels of exports are lower now because we're in the EU, rather than a change that has happened over time as a result of things like a more prosperous China etc.

Leaving the EU won't turn the clocks back and make industry suddenly cost effective again.

The point was German tax payers would have got market value rather than the share buyers getting a £7000,000,000 windfall at the expense of the British tax payers.
 
Why would they move/leave? what is the exact reason that would make the EU a better place to be if the uk left the eu? No country has left the eu yet as far as i am aware. Some have never joined and continued on as normal. Like I said they might move some of their operations to the EU but they would keep their UK office. Its not like the entire industry will flee the country.

ah are these the companies that have been screwing over hard working (skilled) people and companies of the uk that actually do jobs that help make our country move along... ie engineers, transport operatives, cleaners, construction, retail, science you get the idea.

not these companies that play with fictional numbers on a computer screen and moan when they see a problem. but if its their own problem they are magically able to just change the numbers. if it was physical pound coins they were dealing with i would think more highly of them. rant over, sorry to anyone working there.

Or you could leave now and get a citizenship somewhere else?

Why not? The EU would be a much bigger economy. It would make sense to move the main operation into the EU and have satellite operations in the UK. The UK would have to bribe the banks to stay. EU would love to bribe them to go, although they would probably have trouble deciding where to. Brussels, perhaps. Bring the money-based power to the politics-based power.

I would rather have money in my own pocket than giving it to the "taxpayer". If you invested in Royal Mail you would be better off right now. Exactly the same as what happened with Deutche Post their shares started at around 6 Euro and within 9 years were worth 4x more than that.

I really do not see your issue. As for leaving the EU I actually I agree with you there :p

I guess because they've taken away our high-wattage lightbulbs, we won't be able to see that our homes aren't as clean anymore!
