Finally bit the bullet and bought this

OK,

After serveral upgrades over the past few years with my old system i have bit the bullet and bought a new system.

The system is the Cataclysm with the i7 processer. I have also added a 120 SSD and the Colsair h70 cooler

What do you think of the spec?

Have done loads of upgrades myself including mb , processer and a few bits but not that confident with a new build tbh.

My old system was a phenom 9850, 4 gig ddr2, 285 gtx, fenrar cooler and all the other standard bits. so i hope to see a large improvement in performance with the new rig

dude,,that "old" system can still be reused for another gaming system with the 285gtx,,just needs a new mobo and cpu

Yeah i thought that but the pot is dry now. So probably just sell it. Any ideas on selling price?. It has a 1000w psu and a nice alloy case.

uhmm sorry,,cant do price checks outside the MM, what brand/make is that psu and is it a lian-li case?

Yeah sorry for not reading the rules about prices.

The psu is not a very good 1 it's a icute and case is not sure no brand naem but 100 % alloy

Thought it would be best to sell the old rig while it has some value.

Anyway the rig should rock. Really looking forward it and doing some tests on performance and ofc flat out gameing on my Dell 24 ultrasharp

Ok will be a couple of weeks but was thinking maybe an upgrade to the mb and cpu as a back up gaming rig - not to much dosh just to better this ageing thing
