Right, i put a post up a few weeks ago asking for specs on a mini itx build for a htpc.
the spec above are more or less the same as someone from here had said, just with a few tweeks.

So will this all fit into the case i'm buying? the PSU is my main concern, as the case specification states 140x150x86 and the PSU i have is 163x150x86. I'm guessing it'll be fine as the picture on ocuk shows the case with a 750w PSU which is surly bigger than my 300w.

Is there anything any of you guys would change? this is my first build and don't particularly know what's best for the 350 budget i've set. also, and most importantly, have i missed anything? haha.

thanks guys.

A few issues, the DVD won't fit, as the case only accepts Slim-line drives.

Also i few niggly bits but ill explain after my spec.

Firstly, no need for a GPU, the on-board graphics is enough, that 5450 is rubbish anyway.

PSU wise, i think the specs were wrong but THIS PSU is cheaper and better (and shorter) so ALL good. :)

It also gives you FREE SHIPPING with this deal: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18630207

The SSD wasn't a great choice and as you're only source of storage i think 256GBis needed really.

The CPU cooler will come with pre-appliedpaste, so no need for extra.

Mayaswell go for Windows 8.:)

Thanks for the help, i've updated my basket, to what you've said except for windows 8. Don't like it, had it on my Laptop and just couldn't get on with it lol.

Sounds good. I have a windows 8 laptop and it is a mighty pain, but I'm not 100% used to it yet.

Sounds good and enjoy.
