Well i tried everything to get this game working in crossfire and it finally worked with "32 bit windows 7 + 32bit 12.3 driver - no profiles"

however using the "64bit 12.3 driver and 64 bit windows" the error returns...

this is without a doubt a driver problem i just have no idea what to do next ive tried them all and I need 64bit os for this game to work correctly as 32bit isnt enough

any ideas ?

cheers

It's not a driver problem as I played BF3 using the 12.2/12.3 and 12.4 beta's in Win7 64bit using crossfire ASUS 6850's.

There'd be a huge outcry if BF3 didn't like crossfire, its one of the biggest games of the moment.

Sounds more like a system issue, something isn't playing nice with your GPU's.

What problem exactly are you having?

Depends what error you had, was a system error, game error, driver error, etc?

The more info you provide the better people can help.

On switching to x64 OS (Windows 7 I presume); Did you reinstall the OS and re-download the game to ensure troublefree gaming? If you have a spare HDD, install the OS+game on the spare drive (disconnect all existing drives containing data) and use this drive to diagnose if a reinstall was all you needed. If not, then you lost nothing but time. A small SSD would do wonders for this.

Got it working :) installed the os on a nice forensically clean drive and installed the 12.3 drivers :D heres the problem i was having before

That was severely stuttering, glad it's sorted as BF3 is mint! Some conflicts rear their ugly head when you make any major hardware/OS changes.

Btw, you did the reinstall and game download rather quick for a 20GB game, unless you manually already had it backed up. Pain in the *** when Origin should have a Steam-like Backup option.

If you're having girl problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but EA won't fix one :D

lol
