Finally found the mail app I was looking for. Hello Polymail!

Oh really? Thats annoying. Maybe they found a bug with it! How anti-climatic! :p

Keep checking though :) - if I hear of anything regarding Cloud accounts I'll update the thread :)

I have been struggling to find an email client that works for me. I have been using Postbox in order to have a consistent client on Windows and OS X but I have become frustrated by it.

This app would be of interest on OS X if it supported IMAP but for now I am looking at MailMate on the Mac and The Bat! on Windows.

It does support IMAP....I've been using it with my IMAP & Gmail account for weeks now, it's excellent.

I've only had one issue and that was with a draft message not saving properly. But it was a minor thing.

I've been using this for a few days now and it's almost perfect.

I need three separate plugins for Apple Mail to do all of the things Polymail does, and the UI is gorgeous.

However, I'm not having much luck with IMAP. I know it's still in beta, but it's just too unstable at the moment.

My lists have all been imported with INBOX in front of the name, and there's no way to edit them.

Send later items don't appear in the sent folder once they've been sent.

Items moved to a list randomly appear back in the inbox.

Whenever it's open it's using between 75% and 125% of my CPU, causing my MBP fans to go mental.

It's a shame, because I really want it to work. Especially as my Apple Mail plugins currently aren't compatible with Sierra (which I didn't check before upgrading).

Hopefully the team can iron out these issues, then it will be hands-down the best mail client for OSX.

Hi BeachBoyKen,

Yes it supports both Outlook and iCloud email accounts. I believe IMAP is still in beta but my GF has been using the laptop for work for the past few weeks so I've barely opened the app if I am honest! There are probably updates available I haven't seen yet.

I've found similar buggy issues in IMAP to Irish Tom but I don't use IMAP in anger anymore, mainly gmail. For which it works beautifully.

I do not get the high CPU usage issue though. I would say it's worth emailing Polymail or their Twitter to see what they say about it. They might ask for some logs. :)

They're active on SM, so will respond quickly.

Thanks, I will keep my eye on its progress, I was having apple mail issues when I updated to Sierra but Ive solved them now so may just stick with AM for now.
