this is going to be hopefully my new build could you have a look and pick holes in it as I want to order parts this week have not built one for a long time little worried about putting it together a local pc shop said they would do for me

OcUK would build it for you for around £60, I believe. In case that's a better option.

There are a few issues with your spec (very slow RAM, tiny motherboard for that ATX case etc) which Stu has sorted out. By all means spend extra on the Caviar Black drive if you wish but rather than longer warranty on a single drive you'd want two (cheaper) drives if you want to protect against data loss, imo. And its slightly higher speed won't make much difference if your programs and OS are going on the much faster SSD.

thanks for swift reply sorry didn't reply sooner I work funny hours I like stulid second build liked the first build case would like maybe to sli two cards so is first build psu good enough. wifi was just any option as have virgin 152mb broadband fitted not sure where superhub is going to be located can the memory be gotten in black
 
thanks for everyone's help finally order parts today going to build it myself decided against wifi card as broadband is in same room as pc there maybe some more questions when I start to build hope everyone will be as helpful

thanks stulid order some of the bits weeks ago so got them at the old price only bit I didn't order was the cpu cooler as im not overclocking so I hope standard is ok
 
started to build pc today 3 questions motherboard standoffs the markings on the case are not the same as motherboard one doesn't line up at all. 2 question power supply fitting the case has mesh panel underneath so I've fitted psu upside down is that ok.3 audio connection 1 is intel hd other is ac97 what on should I use
 
Place stand offs where there are holes in the board, they screw in and out of the case?

PSU fan upwards in the case if you have it on deep pile carpet, if its on a desk then have the fan facing the mesh underneath.

Use the HD audio plug.
