Riding my bike
I've spent ages trying to find the following:

Mobile phone used to display a route I can follow on a map that shows contours and footpath/bridleways etc.

Heart rate from my garmin should show on the mobile phone.

Import routes from a variety of sources, downloaded from Strava, created on Komoot etc.

I use Strava as a record of my rides and as a way of seeing my own progress.

My Garmin uploads my final ride data to Strava when I finish so that bit is easy.

I finally found IpBike when I was looking for some Ant+ software and found IpAntManager by the same developer.

So IpBike will import routes and show them on a nice map. It will also show my heartrate and any other data I want (distance/speed/time etc).

Works really well.

Garmin Vivoactive3 - records ride and broadcasts HR data
IpBike - Used during ride for map routing and data display
Strava used for archiving rides and seeing my own segment data

Hope this helps someone else!
