Finally Got a Job..

Im finally off the dole after 4 months.

The job is basic doing warehouse / stock work in Marks and Spencers, but after being a layabout with no purpose for the last 4 months im chuffed with it.

It was a job i mentioned a while back when they shortlisted me and some other kid out of another 6.... well initially they gave it to him cos he had retail experience supposedly. Yet he only managed to last a couple of weeks cos " they wished they chose me instead " lol .

So im happy with my basic job.

Just thought id share my joy hehe

Aye. the worst thing is ive been a plumber for 5 years, i have experience with Gas etc, yet the company i worked for sent us to a college that screwed us over and has left us with **** all by means of useful qualifications..

and now a court case.

And to top it off, my tools got stolen from a job i was on a couple of month back so ive been totally out of action!.

Gonna use this job for a number of months, get some money together and get my act back together, get tools. complete courses and eventually get back into a better form of employment.

unless of course i love m+s a load and just wanna aim for promotion and stuff there instead. if i like the lifestyle

Props! And this reminds me that I need a job too, it's been over a month that I quit my bar job! If all goes well though, and I get lucky, I might be making a couple grand per month

First wage is gonna go on debts ive accumulated, new tools since mine got pinched, and a bit put aside.

Just gonna do sneaky plumbing jobs on my days off for a bit extra cash
