So, today I got notified that I have an 'interview' at Aldi...5pm - 7pm Sunday.

Quite excited to be honest.

Has anyone on here worked for Aldi and has anyone got any pointers to help me get the job?

Why do you want a job? You clearly don't need the money considering your lottery win so why not volunteer or something instead.

I only won ~£3K...all gone

Break out the suit and tie.

Got it ready, black shirt/purple tie with black jacket :D

Good news maybe you can buy your dog back.

It's not fair on the dog now to be honest, I'm leaving her alone, she is no longer MY dog, she is happy on the farm so she will stay on the farm.

Thank you to those that say good luck.

The reason it is an 'interview' not an interview, is that I was told it's and open recruitment day for the local area or something along those line but it is still an interview?

No, that is neither an interview, nor an 'interview' it's a recruitment day.

What is the difference? I was thinking it would be a big group interview?

On the day: Suit up, make eye-contact, have good posture, remember your manners, give firm handshakes, get alone with people.

Before: Research the company as best you can. Practice 'obvious' questions such as why you want the job e.g. to develop certain skillsets, etc.

You're not only going to be assessed on how you behave/perform, but also how well you interact with others. Just use your common sense, try to look professional and not someone who's just rocked up off the street.

Does Aldi even exist? :p

Nah, good luck.

Thank you.
