Opted to get it on my ps3 and got it for 14.98 preowned from a well know highstreet store, was still in the wrapper aswell so result!

Cant believe i didnt get this game sooner, its really good and im really loving the relationship between Nico and Vlad, really funny :)

Yeah the framerate is dreadful, shouldn't have been released in such a state.

Although the PS3 version was worse in that department, the 360 version wasn't a joy to play with the drops either.

I played the 360 version quite happily without noticing any drastic framerate drops. Just enjoy the game Inazuma, don't let people on here make you go out looking for them :p

Well as I mainly gamed on PC at the time it become extremely easy to notice drops, especially when you are used to playing things at 60fps consistently. :o

Despite the performance isssues, it is a great game, like most of the GTA series. Enjoy the humour and story and it compensates for the pap gfx.

Hopefully R* will have learnt from this and realise they need to optimise it better next time, then we'll have the best of both worlds.

I game on PC as well, I just think some people notice framerate changes more than others. Especially if they go in expecting to look for them.

I'm over half way through and I've not noticed any framerate problems on the 360.

Well that's good for you but I really don't see how people don't notice them, they aren't small drops and they occur often. (over 25% of the framerate drops)

You can't even drive down an occupied street in a fast car without the framerate spiking. Ridiculous for a game like GTA.

Especially if they go in expecting to look for them.

I didn't go in expecting to look for them, I was extremely hyped for GTA IV to the extent that as soon as I heard it got leaked I modded my 360 for it. I noticed the drops after a while and it ruined the experience as they happen so often.

Seriously in GTA you don't have to look very hard :p

Its horrific, especially when turning a corner in a car - its a 10 min wait for the screen to catch up ;)

just met the yardies lol, absolutely quality voice acting :D

the framerate isnt something ive noticed too much, yea i can tell its slow but the game makes up for it and its not really bothering me at all.

really enjoying it, using sixaxis to reload aswell is very enjoyable.

hmm, I havent noticed any issues with framerates either on 360. That includes driving down busy streets, and handbreak turning. I'm on the 3rd island too.

I do notice frame rate issues in other games, Not in GTA4, strange

I've avoided getting this game for the pc so far because of the DRM, but i've just had a look on steam and it says unlimited machine activations, is this true?

I suppose, their are other games on steam that do have an activation limit though, like crysis for example. I think GTAIV initially had a limit on steam.
