Its arrived and installed. However when playing warzone I'm seeing it go from 160 fps to 120 fps and this 40 or so fps drop happens a lot.

Setup
10900k
2x montiors
cosair cooling
750w psu

Anyone any idea whats going on? Also seem to be getting what looks like lag.

What resolution and in game settings are you using? My CPU bottlenecks my 3080 (10700k 5.2GHz)in Warzone at 1440p unless I crank the resolution scale right up and it’s worse on some parts of the map than others. Should be a lot more stable in multiplayer.

Everything high and running 1440p.

What do you class as okay though? I've done loads of digging and quite a few complaining about poor performance since season 6, it's pretty much the norm that performance drops when they launch a

No fps drop. It was stable on the super. But season 6 does seem a little laggy. But nothing to warrant a big 40ish fps drop.

Yes but it a takes a little bit of configuration if you’ve never used it before. Or do you have GeForce Experience installed? If you go into settings > ‘enable experimental features’ you can display a performance overlay with alt+r in game which shows GPU usage.

You’ll find that GPU usage in Warzone drops to 70-80% in some areas of the map, meaning that your CPU is now the bottleneck and I think that might be why you’re seeing the drops in framerate.

Done this. I have seen drops to around them figures but the fps remained constant at them times.

Just done some more testing. Its many under load that it drops fps if I'm stood still it holds. Once I start moving hard or using say a helicopter it drops 40-50 fps for a second and causes like a stutter/lag.

Why would an enthusiast with the best CPU and best GPU want to cut costs on a budget 750w psu?

It would be like driving a Ferari through an economy car wash to cut costs.

Well I drive a mclaren not a ferrari to start buddy. Also if you cared to read the thread you would see I didnt buy the psu for the gpu. I'm simply upgrading my 2080 super. Unsure where I've said this is a new build or that I've bought a 750 for the 3090?
