Now I'm just waiting on a memory card to arrive 
Having previously had my Fuji S9600 from a certain un-named company who saw fit to supply it with a French manual even when their entire site is in english with UK currency and a .co.uk domain I didn't make it a priority to check the language of the manual, still lesson learned...
They were also horrific to contact and returning an item was a long and frustration process, still it's all sorted now and hopefully my memory card will arrive tomorrow and I can start playing properly
