Finally got paid for my first 'real' sale.

I finally got the payment for my photo I sold to be used for xmas cards for 2007/8/9. They also sent me the final PDF proof thingy so I could see what it looks like and its got my name and email address on the back. I was only expecting my name so quite pleased there is some contact info too!

Its kinda given me the nudge I needed to start uploading to Alamy as I've been putting it off for ages but getting paid for an image has given me a bit more enthusiasm!

I just had a look on your website, really like the Mammal/Bird shots. What camera and lens are you using for most of them ?

At the moment I'm using a D2x with 200-400 VR for most of my wildlife, actually I use the 200-400 a lot for landscapes too. I used to have a D100 and then a D200 so they were used for some too. As well as my old Sigma 100-300 for a couple.
