Quite a nice trade off given the goodies with PC games and the graphics.

What? Are you telling me that the 'goodies' (What's that?) in PC games are worth spending £100's of pounds annually (or less) on upgrades?

Which is great given what it can output, but still the G80 is barely a year old iirc.

Also the first killer looking game on 360 was around when killer looking UT3/Crysis footage was out.

So? I take it you're talking about Gears of War. There's a difference between playable and video. Remember when we originally saw all the UT3 stuff? They said it was running flawlessly on a 6800 Ultra... rubbish.

It does depend on the game of course, I should've said that.

I generally meant the mod community, but obviously not all games do have that.

Online games are usually better on the PC version I always thought though (mainly because of the servers), again it does depend on the game.
