Picked up Res. Evil 4 the other day from Blockbuster **Competitor? - I'll remove if need be** (2nd hand) for £4.99 (SCORE!) because they'd priced it wrong!

Been playing it all day today and I'm very very impressed. Found the right-orintated 3rd person view a bit restrictive at first but once I got use to it I've been headshotting like nobodies business. One thing i'm most impressed with is that they appear to have got the difficulty level bang on - nothing's too hard that a couple of tries won't sort out and nothing ever feels easy. I also love they way it allows you to be a bit creative in your psuedo-zombie killing - how about leading them through those trip mines back there? or trapping 6 of them in a room and chucking in a nade? Great fun!

Anyway as I've only really just started what tips (not spoilers!) could you give me? Also is there a way of dodging left and right? Those blade throwing types are giving me real headaches!

Cheers!
Chris

its a game i have always thretened to get but never have.
What did u get it on PS2 or Gamecube??

One of the first games I got for my £15 gamecube. Great stuff, and was suprised how big the game is. Still on the first disc after a very long time playing!

Its a really good game and one of my all time favorites. They have put a lot of things right that were wrong with the other Res games.

saw this game today 2nd hand in GAME.....wait for it....£24.99 !

From some of the rubbish thats being released i think 24.99 is still worth it for that game!
I know ill be buying it again when i get a wii. :D

My tip for for the win is shoot the chuffs in the foot and then kick/suplex them down then knife their faces off :D
Good way of saving ammo and very satisfying.

Its harder to do that when playing on hard (obviously) as I'd say 90% of the bad dudes run at you instead of walking on that difficulty.

just got this for the cube yesterday too, havnt got far, just to the first village bit. Made the mistake of shooting one of the zombies in the ass and about 100 piled out down the road at me :D Think i might have to sneak through this bit!

Top game though. It stopped me playing Viewtiful Joe so it has to be good :)

I just traded Resi 4 for Gamecube in last week. Paid full RRP for it when it first came out, played it couple of times but just couldn't get into it. Been sat gathering dust for months... years even? :(

Big fan of the series and wanted to like it so much. The original remake was better, great game :)

Great game, and one of a few reasons why I would never consider selling my GC.
I made that mistake :( , hopefully itll be out on PC some time soon so i can get it on that.

I didn't get round to finishing it, although I believe I was near to, maybe I'll start it over. It's a great action game, the combat is fantastic. For the latest game in a horror series however, it wasn't very scary.

I was very tempted to buy this when i had a GameCube & PS2 but never really got around to it and now i dont have either console anymore so i guess i'll wait until the PC version gets released ;)
