Finally made a decision :)

After pestering you guys to death I have made a decision re my PC for rendering etc.

I bit the bullet and have bought the parts to build a new PC and a pal of mine is getting my old Dell XPS 8500

This is what I am getting:

• 1 x Gigabyte X99M Gaming 5 - Intel Core i7 5820K Six Core CPU & Motherboard Bundle ***£20 Saving***= £469.98
• 1 x Corsair Vengeance 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 PC4-19200C14 2400MHz Quad Channel Kit - Red (CMK32GX4M4A2400C14R= £154.99
• 1 x MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card - Red= £199.99
• 1 x Corsair Carbide Series Air 240 High Airflow PC Case - Black (CC-9011070-WW)= £79.99
• 1 x Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2 Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler (CW-9060025-WW)= £94.99

I will be using a recently purchased Cooler Master PSU, 2 x SSD drives and a 2TB SATA drive.

I may even delve into some mild overclocking

no DVD/Blu-ray drive at all? I know that a lot of people opt not to go for one but it makes life easier should you be using a windows disc option and have any old games still on discs that are waiting to be played?

Nice system.

Get a copy of your OS(ISO file) on to a USB stick.

No need for disk drives, as most games can be downloaded as an ISO file and mounted. Or you can add them to your Steam account.
