I know it doesn't necessarily suit the purists but I want to take a keener interest in photography but just don't want to cart all of the paraphernalia around.

I travel a lot throughout the UK with work now too and this really is going to suit my needs much more than a full DSLR or CSC.

Will stretch it's legs this week and really need to get away from the dreaded auto setting. :)
 
At the end of the day, the best camera is the one you have with you when you need it ;)

I've a D700, 3 lenses, flashes and yes, its a ball ache carrying all that around all the time so I just end up using the wife's F600 P&S or my phone now :)
 
This is the same camera I have my eye on... Enjoy but make sure you post your photos when you get the chance ;)
