So after years of dutiful service from my Razer Tarantula keyboard (5+ years) I have decided to move with the times and treat myself to a lovely new keyboard.

I haven't really done much research as such in terms of what keyboards to get but have decided to stick with what I know and go with a new Razer Blackwidow Ultimate. I was hoping to get the stealth version but I just couldn't wait any longer for them to come into stock.

I am sure there will be people saying "No" you should have gone for "x" keyboard because of this feature or that but I have been happy with the quality of Razer products and although the key layout is slightly different to my tarantula I am sure it won't take me long to get my fingers retrained to key positions.

Now I just have to wait for it to be delivered :(

Be aware - it is very loud.

Got one myself, had it a few months now and still not really used to it. I like it in games as its easy to find keys, but still finding it a bit of a pain when typing.

This is why I was going to go with the stealth version as it was a quieter board. As for loudness not an issue for me as I usually have headphones in (others in the office may have some things to say but we will see. :p)

I didn't find it that much better of typing experience membrane vs mech before the ducky shine 3 with reds I had a MS x4 and it was almost as good typing on it.
