I hope you are right. I always gauge the state of a pc/computer/console's on the quantity and quality of the magazines available, the state of the PC mags reminds of the Amiga mags when they were in serious decline.
Ha, yea unfortunately with PC mags they are selling to a market that are generally very well up on their computer skills and often just get the news from the internet.
I for one hardly get any of my PC gaming news reviews from magazines (though I do buy PC Gamer religiously), as it is all there on the internet a few clicks away seconds after it happens - not late by a month. However, as I said I still buy the magazines because they are usually well written and ideal toilet reading.
I guess the rest of the print media is seeing a similar trend, but the PC gaming magazine is feeling it rather acutely. Not because there are less PC games or PC gamers - but that the buggers would rather read it somewhere that is easily accessible and free.
