Came back from Amsterdam on monday and as a homage to one of my favorite cities, i decided to make my new loop red light district theme!

This is intended to be a full AMD and EK build but unfortunately EKs fittings were sold out in most places and had to grab a mix of different compression's.

System:

CPU: fx8350
MOBO: Crosshair Formula-Z
RAM: Ballistix 8gb
PSU: Fatality 750W

WCing Gear:

Two 4.0 EK pumps (a ton of pumping power for the price of one D5 + top)
360mm EK rad
240mm EK rad
Supremacy block (CSQ replaced with clean plexi)
Original Dominator Block (CSQ replaced with clean plexi)
Crosshair V Formula Z waterblock
290X EK plexi clean block

The reason behind this build was mainly as a homage to AMD and EK, the PC will be used for gaming and with my other builds for number crunching. I bought the clean plexi tops to my blocks directly from EK as spare parts for a fresh look over CSQ.

Thanks for posting this pic, Very good looking comp.

I too am going EK/AMD and have the following parts,

CPU: fx8350
MOBO: Crosshair V Formula

Watercooling
EK Supreme LTX CPU block
EK NB/Mosfet motherboard block
D5 + top
Phobya black nickel 150mm res.
Thick 240mm rad and two fans.
Black nickel XSPC comps and fittings with red tubing, EK clear fluid.

A question please,

Did you have any issues with the NB/Mosfet block, how straightforward was it to fit?

I am only watercooling the CPU and mobo, so I expect that the 240 rad will be enough.

240 will be enough, i was running 240 on a mobo, RAM and cpu loop.

If you are looking to even up distances with spacers between the blocks you, i needed the a 10mm fitting extender to go on the Mobo (but had a Supremacy block and am not sure what height the supreme sits).

As for fitting the motherboard block, taking the old sink off was the hard part. The motherboard standoffs were thread locked and only brute force and luck managed to free them without having screwdrivers impale my board. If you unscrew each screw a little bit at a time, rather than one screw at a time, it will be easier to remove.

@OP

Did you use a plastic shield around the NB die to avoid shorting out? If so, what? I was thinking of using something like the clear plastic from a memory pack if it is required.

Thanks, andy.
