Finally Seen the Light (Nero gone!!)

Havnt used bero for a good couple of years now, struggled at first but then i found img burn and ive never looked back.

Which of these freeware products can produce bootable CDs/DVDs. I tried using ImgBurn but ended up producing loads of coasters as the process for creating a bootable CD/DVD is not at intuitive as Nero where to point to a bootable img file then drag what you want in terms of other files to the left hand pane.

With ImgBurn I could do the first bit easy enough but when adding files it always wanted to use the folder path of the source file and I couldn't find a way to say this is the folder structure I want ie like you can build in Nero.

Does anyone know why I can only burn at ~9x with Infranburn? I get 16x with Nero.
I also notice Infranburn creates a disk image before burning too but nero just starts burning straight away. Is this needed/changable?

But anyone know how to remove the Nero Crap from my 'Autorun' dialogue.

Sim :)

Sorted it!!...

for anyone else (using Vista and possibly Win7) that wants to know CCleaner won't remove the AutoRun, yes it will remove the 'Orphoned' bits and bobs left over from the install.. but not the extra crap in the 'AutoRun'...

The way to remove the entry is (drumroll please!!!)...

When the 'AutoRun' pops up, click on the 'Useless' entry and Windows will pop up an Error message saying summut like 'Can't find the Application' and it nicely removes it from the list!!! :)

I only found this out a minute ago when I got annoid and shouting "Look you Stupid XXXXing thing it's not there any more!!!" at my computer, I clicked the entry... et voila... it did the above for me!! :D

Sometimes Anger and Windows works!! :p

Can you not just use msconfig to just modify the startup? (Go to run/search in vista, type msconfig, go to startup tab)
