Got water block on its way today to provide a cooler jacket for my 780, time to see if it can keep up with those pesky 290X's can so far managed around the 1350 mark @ 1.35v with an asic of 63.7 and can use upto 1.45v, so should be good for a little more ;) not even gonna mention the memory, its the one thing that lets these cards down. :(

Memory appears hit and miss on all 780's nick. My launch edition glh is samsung and the one I bought a few weeks ago is elpida :(

Saying that you have memory over voltage available and rbbys tool ;)

I think you'll be pushing north of 1430 with volts :)

My lightnings memory is glorious, I do wish they'd been more consistent with the batches though, the hit and miss approach is not something you want in a high end card.

I'll hopefully water cool mine at some point but out of curiosity what is the max vcore for these chips?

I've got the afterburner se giving plus 100mv but that's only giving 1.21v are you using rbbys tool?

Yes you can use the original back plate.
What memory is in yours? If you hover over ddr5 in nvidia inspector it will tell you.

Currently can only get +185 on the mem :( which is certainly gonna hold it back in some benchmarks

Hynix on mine, gone to +500 without voltage increases.

It really was a poor call by anyone making an enthusiast card to use elipida :(

Yeah very, most are hitting the +300 mark, mine is just v.poor, gonna be interesting to see what water brings. Not sure what the vdroop is like on these things when pushing hard. The classy's I had would drop 0.1v at load.

How does your card clock at the basic 1.21v nick? Trying to guage what ballpark I should be aiming for on mine once blocked and volted up
