That is quite innovative for passive cooling, I wonder if it will have upgradability in the future.

Haha I can't see a space to fit one on the inside of their own case. Cable ties on the outside though?

I meant more if designs change, location of a socket or GPU moves a few mm in any direction. If that's possible then it would be obsolete.

Keeping a R7 2700 + RTX2070 under control, seems to be efficient. At least the size of the cooler isn't just a nuisance. Works.
Quite decent option for someone who wants a 100% quiet system.

Not exactly a reasonable test though, using the 2700. I'd like to see the likes of a 3600 in there with a 1660Ti/1660Super/2060/2070s

The 3600 should be cooler than the 2700x. The RTX2070 is not a very cool card. Would be a struggle with the Vega.

My only concern would be, but I'm not planning to go mini now, would be the GPU VRM and memory, without any contact with the heatsink.

Would small VRM heatsinks be enough with that card? I have a low RPM fan over mine on a large cooler (Morpheus II) with small heatsinks on the VRM's and it's quite and stable, but it's a mid range card rather than top of the range. Would the VRM's on a 2070 require better cooling?
