Well after waiting for the bracket I wanted to come back into stock I gave up after finding a great little tank bag. Only cost £39, sure its not going to hold much but theres a bit of room, keeps the sat nav dry and is easy to carry around when you get to where your going. The only thing that bugs is the fact the cable duct is to narrow for my lead to go through, so I have to just put it through the zip.

You messy bodgers! :p

I dont like the idea of wires dangling around. I used a Ram Mount with a telferizer. Means it doesn't obstruct the speedo/tacho. Then its just permanently wired in to the brake light (so its on ignition and fused). I can remove the clamp anytime and the wire can be tucked away neatly :p

Edit - I've tried sat navs in tank bags and always found them very hard to read in sunlight.

Edit 2 - Kidloco - thats the biggest satnav screen I've ever seen!

Not the best picture, but you get the idea:

Yeah. It's a tomtom 520 XL. I find the bigger the screen the easier and importantly quicker it is to read. Was gonna use my iPhone but staring at a tiny little screen trying to work out where your going is asking to crash.
