Finally the day has come

Hmmm.

You must feel like your life is starting...
It's quite scary, my life is about to change forever: I'm leaving home so I'll be seeing my family far less often, I won't see any of my friends for ages and there are some people I'll likely never see again. To top it all off my best friend since childhood is being deployed to Afghanistan and I won't see him again until March :(

Thank god. You can stop going on about it now :)
Sorry, it's been pretty prominent in my thoughts for months now, it seems to ebb into everything I do (including forum posts); people I know are pretty sick of me talking about it all the time no doubt :D

Be sure to update your sig before you leave as it's going to be out of date. ;)
Not really, I'll actually be an Officer Cadet from tomorrow, whereas before I've been a civvy ;)

Doesn't look that bad. Perhaps the deliveries entrance is less presitgous...

No i go in the same way as everyone else, use the same rundown facilities as the officers (we get full use of the gym as members of the local football league) the camp dentist was holding surgery in what was nothing more than a large garden shed up untill 18 months ago.
admittedly they have built some new buildings over the past couple of years, but its still a run down old hole.
ill get some pictures tommorow for you.

That building in the pictue is the only building of that type on the camp thats the college hall to either side of that and around the back are tatty old buildings.
Fair play to the dude for being happy with joining the airforce, im just saying cranwell isnt exactly ***** accomodation.
