Gods County(Allegedly)
Have just completed my new build - begun in October 2014 :o

I managed to go through 4 x99 boards in process

Boards:-
Asus 99-S - first had to go back to Asus problems with USB 3 et all
MSI Gaming 7 - worked flawlessly (just wrong colour- had my heart set on a black and white system - with red ram)
Asus 99-S - replacement fron Asus - worked well until I managed to bend a few pins :(
Asus 99- S - latest ; installed , overclocked 5820 cpu to 4.125 (125 x 33) with 1.09375v.

2 x 290 XFX (947mhz) - left at standard at moment.

Cooling both cpu and gpu's is custom loop - Photon pump/res combo + Mayhems Pastel white +primo chill white tubing + raystorm cpu block + 2 x aqua computer Kryographics Hawaii gpu blocks (very pretty from below) + xspc compression fittings + 1 xspc ex 360 + 1 x xspc ex 120 + mx4 + 4 x viper fans

Tried a quick blast of IBT - Highest Temp = 60c

Tried a quick run of Heaven - Highest Temp = 50c And highest temp for vrm's was 30 c

Do believe that there may be room for a bit more in the cpu and not even begun with GPU's. :D

I appreciate that my clocks/build are/is nothing special compared to some of the beauties that you lot build but having bought items between october and December to find it would not play at all when I started to build xmas time to have it finally up and running today ....:D:D:D:D:D

4 boards, blimey Im surprised you stuck with ASUS+MSI that long.

Got a pic for stewie?

Once I get my lights working correctly - Yes (I assumed that the xspc lights would be white not blue so it looks a bit of a dogs dinner at the moment)

I hope that ocuk will have the required white led's:)

n.b MSI board - never an issue
Asus first board their problem - second one mine i.e. now know that to avoid bending cpu pins:-
a) Use the cover for the pin block - you may well , in my case will !, end up pushing the cpu block into the hole , because
b) if you use compression fittings warm the tubing up first (it avoids you writhing around trying to get them to tighten; resulting in pushing the block into the hole.)

BTW the case is a Corsair 780T (white) which is why I wanted the Asus 99-S Board :)
