Hey,

I own an MSI 8800 Ultra. The next time I upgrade, will be when the GT200 series come out.
Now, from a financial perspective, I'm unsure what to do: Currently, I can get £200+ for my Ultra right now. So is it worth selling that in the summer when I will get a most-probable lower price (post GT200 release), or sell it now, buy a 8800 GTS for £150 (which is fine for the games I currently play), then sell that come the summer (as a GTS is more popular than an Ultra).

Maybe I've read this situation wrong. I'm just asking, if you had (or maybe you have) an Ultra, and plan on upgrading come the GT200, what would you do?

I wouldn't worry about it too much...if you can afford a GT200 on release then the price difference between a card which would let you continue playing and that which you'd get for your 2nd hand ultra probably won't be worth the hassle.

dental plan, dental plan....:p:D

but to the OP. if you can afford to get a GT200 then stay with the ULTRA and sell it then.

either way both cards will deteriorate in price.
