Find me a 3 Pin Mini Din!

Difficult one here.

In need of an extension cable. Now the difficult bit is that it is a 3 Pin Mini Din (like an S-Video cable but 3 pin).

Have asked a fair few electronics shops and they all have mini dins starting at 4 pin (S-Video I think) and 3 pin seems rare if not impossible to find but saying as I have something with that plug type it must be somewhere!!!

So if anyone works in an electronics shops or has an idea where I can get one I would be rather pleased.

So if there are any ideas...

I doubt you're going to find anything premade with them on.

What i'd do, is to cut the current wire off and make a cable which turn the 3pin mini din into a twin phono. Use a multimeter to find which is the ground pin, this needs to be duplicated along with one of the left + right signals to each female phono connector.

Then solder some normal phono connectors onto your speakers and you have a standard setup which you can just use phono extensions on.

Can't as I need it to connect to the 3 pin mini din socket. Was thinking of cutting *** wire and extending it but I don't no what core wire it is and could be into a difficult fix.
