I am building a HTPC.
I have all of the components but as yet I do not have a case.
I would like to put the case in a small cupboard, and that is the tricky bit, the dims of the cupboard aren't the best to work with

What I have
MATX board
GTX 460 gpu
full size ATX PSU

cupboard dims,
width 260mm
height 360mm
depth 385mm

width wise I do have space either side but any wider won't get past the hinges on the door but it does allow for some cooling.
height wise there is a lip on the front of the door again leaving a bit of space above for cooling.

depth wise, a case that is 385mm deep will be no good because I need space to plug cables etc in. 385 is the absolute masimum depth I can work with.

Modding the cupboard to make it bigger is not an option, however if I can find a case I will be cutting a hole for a fan or 2 :)

I used to run the card inside an antec P180 and it idle'ed at 35oc
That seems pretty cool to me.

My alternative is to try and find a way to send either coaxial or optical over cat6, if I can do that I can have the pc in a different room (have 3 spare cat6 runs behind the TV, I need 2 for HDMI, and then the 3rd could do audio)

My amp does not have HDMI and my TV does not pass through 5.1 only 2 channel. this is the reason for needing seperate audio.
The neatest solution is definitely putting it in the cupboard with an intake/exhaust fan built into it :)
