Check out the Ikea Bekant, very solid good quality desk, probably one of the best they do. I agree the Linnmon and legs is not very stable. Had one myself before and was wobbly as anything.
 
You could try ebay for office desks, I was planing on buying a decent second hand one from an office that's going out of business rather than getting a cheap new one.

Dwell outlet, picked up a stupidly expensive desk a few years back for about 20% of its value due to a tiny scratch where my monitor would be.

Can confirm. (I am the aforementioned brother in shatpanks post :p)

But it does the job where I am at the minute but as soon as I move then I'll be replacing it, if you need something sturdy then avoid it.

Have two bekants, good desks. One is a motorised standing version too :) love it

This, just got one of these and I think it's great. 140cm X 60cm with two legs with huge wide feet. Very stable, legs adjust for height and boy those legs are very well made, metal and heavy. I chose the birch finish with white trim and it has a cable net underneath, looks great for £120, comes in four finishes.

Got my 28" monitor, 930mm gaming surface with keyboard and mouse a few bits and bobs and my large Canon printer/scanner/copier etc. on it and still got some space. :D
 
I have this FREDDE Workstation from Ikea. Been brilliant since I got it last summer.

Might not be everyone's cup of tea with the shelf top, but it's really good for my POP Vinyl's and Game collector editions :)
 
Upgraded from a now end of life Ikea desk to Ikea Alex 200x60 table top and 2 of the 6 drawer units to support it.
No wobble given the drawers used for supports and more then enough width to accommodate large triple monitor setups.
