Hi all...

Been trying to find a replacement dual-flush plate for our fancy toilet! Most of the unit is hidden behind the wall and its just the bowl and flush-plate that can be accessed.

Basically the flush-plate clips that hold the actual flushing buttons on have snapped and we just cannot find any information on the one we have.

Also we have tried to order a replacement online going only on it being exactly the same dimensions, the same make and looking sorta the same. However this came through the post and the it only needs one "air pipe" (no idea what they are called) and we have two "air pipes" currently. One for each flush button.

Silly me assumed all dual flush systems would work with a pipe for each flush.

So two things really...firstly...if I give out the only number that is written on our original flush plate....can someone identify what it actually is and whether we can get another. GROHE 93.138.031/AM 208978/10.06

Secondly, seeing as the first option is probably not likely, can anyone tell me if there is a specific term I should be remembering for a dual flush system with two pipes? The one we bought was a GD2 system or something like that?

Many thanks

Hey all..I'll try to link some pics.

Just to say that there is a part code (assuming its a part code) on the inside of the flush plate but I cant find it anywhere on the GROHE website or even by googling it

Hi

Have a look at the Grohe Skate Air faceplate. The face plate will have to be like for like as you have a Grohe cistern installed.

Option 2- Call Grohe technical and give them those numbers to see what they come up with.

Great thanks I found a Grohe Skate Air online for £30....It looks identical to the one we have. I haven't bought it yet though because of the below -

I thought I would do a bit of testing of the 2 air pipes. I have a clear pipe attached to the left connector on the flushing unit and a green pipe attached on on the right (looking at it from the front - with the flush buttons facing you).

If I take the clear one off of the left side and leave the green on the right side it doesn't flush. If I move the green one to the left side, it still doesn't flush. Also if I move the clear one to the right side, it doesn't flush.

Soooo I think that means that only the clear pipe is connected to anything inside the cistern (wth is it for then?!) and only one of the air pipe connectors (the left one) in the back of the flushing unit works (wth is there two then?!)

I have a Grohe toilet flush plate code 93.138.031/AM 208978/10.06

And I’m trying to fix it back into the cistern

it has one blue plastic tube connected to the flush plate but not connected into the cistern - is that possible to fix ? And I only have one plastic tube attached and I assume I should have two but there is no sign of the other one
