How do I do this? I have loads I bought when I had a 3GS, but I cannot find anywhere to see all of my owned apps?

I think this is something they are looking into for iOS 5 as they realise it is a problem as at the moment you have to re-download stuff from memory.

This is implemented in the Mac App Store already with a "Purchased" tab so it's only a matter of time the same comes to iOS.

Only by re-downloading old purchases and it not charging you
You can also test whether you own it by clicking to write a review, rather than pressing Buy and hoping for the best. Again, pretty clunky. iTunes is a mess :(

Surely you just looks at the apps through iTunes when you connect your phone?

iTunes stores all apps you've ever downloaded when it syncs. Those with ticks are installed on the phone currently, those without were deleted directly from your phone at some point. Just tick them, and then sync again to install them onto the new phone.

Pretty simple really.

Store > View My Account > Purchase History

It's a bit clunky, but works fine.

This is the only way I've found, it's a bit of a pig but you can see what you've bought. Bit disappointed to find I had to do this, given how slick everything else is.

Glad to hear they're looking into sorting it in later releases.

This.

I dont see why you'd need anything else?
