Hey all,

Take a look at this screenshot..

Anyone know where I can get the Macintosh HD drive icon from?

Searching on InterfaceLift and IconFactory but if someone knows the exact package then I love you long time :D

It is one of the default icons from Tiger (I think - but I use that for my downloads folder in any event and it survived the crossing). I will email it to you this evening when I am back on the Mac.

[EDIT]

Sent to your address in trust.

Yeah, I actually found it on InterFaceLift.

The attachment you sent me was a .RTF file, and thus wouldn't open.. thanks though :)

for system icons, take a look at www.panic.com/candybar, for other things (such as individual files, folders, applications and hard drives that aren't your built-in one), copy the icon (cmd-c), ctrl-click the thing you want to change, get info and select the mini icon in the top left (it should appear slightly highlighted), paste the icon you copied (cmd-v) and it should change.

It's easier if you check the sticky ;)

Candybar is good if you want a complete overhaul, but most apps can be changed without installing anything.. Its all copy and paste.
