Find the item detective type games

Can anyone think of any? You know the sort of low budget games you find in the £2 pile at Game.

There are some on Facebook, but I was wondering if there are any other full games which are pretty good. Most of them run on very low hardware as well. which would mean they would be fine for mum's laptop.

I used to love Hidden Object games!...I still play them occasionally. I have a laptop set up with loads on there for my mum to play. She loves them!

You want to check out Bigfish. They do most of the best ones. In particular, some to look out for are the Agatha Christie ones- Death on The Nile, 4.50 from Paddington etc, and the Mystery Case Files series.

Just check out Bigfish basically.

Another shout for the mystery case files series. Usually very good and the last few have moved to a kind of hidden object/adventure hybrid.

All these are worth a look imo:
Escape from Ravenhearst
13th Skull
Dire Grove
Return to Ravenhearst

They usually release a new one every December, although avoid last year's 'Shadow Lake' which was rubbish.

only hidden object game i tried playing was this http://www.casebookthegame.com/ as im a sucker for live action fmv, alas it was not too my tastes and i will be waiting for the tex murphy sequal!
