Sorry for the long title, but as it says really. My Macbookpro used to connect to my home network fine, i then had to change my router and in doing so changed my workgroup name.
It can see the workgroup and i have selected the right one in Utilities smb etc, when i go to network, it see the workgroup and the windows machine, but when i hit connect i get the spinning wheel of death and thats it, when i force quit i see that finder has crashed.
I think that the preferences are just confused, is there a plist that i can delete and renew?
The Windows machine can see and access the mac, and the mac connects everyday as a work machine, but on different account.
Appreciate that my explaination is a little confusing, so just ask away if there is something your not sure about.
