Finder fault doing my head in!

Hello

I have had macs for ages and my MacBook Pro seems to have developed a fault. When I open finder it always remembered the size I had the window but now it seems to forget after a day or two.

Is anyone else having this problem? Its so annoying!

Look for com.apple.Finder in ~/Library/Preferences/ and move it to the desktop then open terminal and type 'killall Finder' and it should relaunch finder, if not type 'reboot' and it will reboot your mac and the Finder should be good.

• Open Finder using the dock
• Resize window to your personal preference
• Adjust the view (column/list/icon etc)
• Navigate around folders within the new Finder window (go to Macintosh HD, desktop, Home etc)
• Click the little red "x"

Next time you open Finder it will remember these settings.
