finder requires that you type your password

If it's happening a lot, you might want to change your permissions. You will always be asked when installing software. Are you the system admin?

How do you turn this off?

Everytime I install or delete files this dialog pops up.

I don't think you can. OS X needs you to supply admin permissions when installing apps or changing key files.

Shouldn't do it when deleting files unless you are deleting files from where you really shouldn't be or something is screwed up (permissions?)

I get the Dialogue only when installing Applications and I have VMWare installed. Mind you if I want to delete files from where I really shouldn't be I use Terminal! :D

That's the problem, he obviously has permission problems.
