Finding a designer

I'm a bit embarrassed to ask this on here but after a year or so I'm going to.

I'm more of a developer then a designer, though I do work for clients as a designer, however I find it really hard doing design for myself.

Where would I be able to find someone to design my website, I don't really want it coding just a pdf that I can turn into a site. And then maybe some copywriting done.

elance may be a good start if you want to hire people to do it.

If you want to do it yourself but don't have a creative mind I find the best thing to do do is look at different sites and find different aspects you like on each, then splice it together, or a book someone recommended me on here is great, it's called the designers book for non-designers, really good read and helpful.
