Finding a phone number from a UK address?

I'm trying to find out the phone number to an old friend! The only thing I have is an address to his house - I would send a letter but its rather urgent.

Does anyone know of any service which can help me?

BT Directory Enquiries, if you know his surname... possibly?

Online direct enquiries? I'm sure if he isn't ex-directory you should be able to find his number through his address and name.
