Finding an artist that sounds similar to Chris Cornell.

I was in work this evening, a new track plays and I didn't even catch the lyrics.

I had no battery on my phone to use Shazam either.

All I know is it sounded a lot like Chris Cornell, but I've just listened to 72 previews of tracks on Amazon, and it wasn't any of them.

Any ideas of potential artists?

I've always thought Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots sounds like him.

Apologies to all of you, I must have not really listened to the track properly as it's pretty different to Cornell...

Was the husky bit that made me think it, not the chorus.
