Finding BIOS Version?

Hi, How do i find bios version of my Gigabyte 965p DS3 without booting it up, the reason i ask is because im having problems with it and it will not boot so im wondering if i can find info printed on the bios chip etc?

Just a quick question where is the bios chip on the ds3 i cant see it, im used to a large one like on my nf2. can anyone post a pic of the chip plz?

I need to know the bios version as the memory i have only works with version F3 and abouve so i want to know if any of my parts are borked or if its just that i need to somehow flash the bios
