Finding info on a car... Citreon c8

Hi,

So my friend is looking to buy a citreon c8 2007 lx.... I can't find any features anywhere. How do I find out if it has electric doors for eg?

I've googled it etc to no avail.

Are you not thinking of the C6, the quirky saloon. The C8 is a van with windows type thingy.

For standard kit I usually google for a pdf of a sales brochure from the correct year. To check what options are fitted you'll either need to check the actual car, learn what telltales to look for in the photographs or a dealer should be able to find out what options were fitted based on the reg but I doubt they'll do that if you're not the owner

Hahaha some of the comments are great. He's only getting it for a family run around car, shove the dog in and not worry so much about the interior.

That parkers is a handy site though, I'll bookmark that.

Just be aware the doors make them a monstrous thing, Parkers has the weight for the stock model methinks, as according to the handbook, my electric door, leather/heated/electric full everything model is 1900kg dry, so about 2tonnes with oil/fuel etc before you get anyone in it.

Also make sure it's a 6 speed (they changed 2006ish) and the 2.2 is best! 130hp base 170bhp for the top spec.
I've also had it showing 6.5mpg up garrowby hill with 7ppl in

The only thing I've had go wrong is 2 of the tyre pressure sensors but they are only £25 each.

Just googled Citroen C8 and that thing is an abomination, doesn't he want to jump on the leasing a Qashqai bandwagon instead of buying that?

Ah crap. I posted whilst being dragged around town and half thought I may have meant C6. Didn't bother checking!

C8 is indeed awful. My comments still stand when in reference to the C6 though.

Depends if he needs full size rear seats or not, most of these smaller 7 seats cars have very small rear seats, and unfortunately its just the bus type MPV that have decent rear seats and a boot.

Personally i wouldnt get a C8, look at the Galaxy/Alhambra or the Previa.
