£50, £20 both times in the same place - My front door is next to a cash machine though, so I guess my chances of finding cash people have dropped is greater than average. Both times I did look to see if I could see anyone who could have dropped it but there was nobody to be seen.

my mum has the nickname 'bloodhound' for her ability to come across lost items
when i was young sat on some uk sandy beach, she dug a small hole next to the picnic rug, found a wallet and car keys - handed them in and got £50 reward.
she found a ladies gold watch by the side of the road on the way into town (by the registry office) turns out it had been a brides wedding present from the groom, again after she handed it in and the groom came round with a huge bunch of flowers and a box of chocolates!
she finds money just sat in the road, she wins loads of competitions, and always finds bargain holidays / clothes etc
i haven't inherited her eagle eye - but last night i did find £3.80 down the back of the sofa - win!

I've found a £20 note in a car park.
£10 note in the road while walking to school, bought myself a multimedia card for my Nokia N-Gage.
Not sure if I've found a £5 note before.
Few £1 coins here and there and 1000 pesetas in a swimming pool in Spain which is around £5 I think.

iv got a mate who has stupidly good eyes, he made his gf pull over on an A road in countryside because at 70mph he'd spotted a note flapping in a bush.. £20..
He finds them quite regulaly.

I have a tendancy to find money all the time, one occassion last year was really weird! Last academic year I left my block to go circuit training and found £10 outside on the grass. I came back 1 1/2 hours later and found a tenner in exactly the same bit of grass (deffo was not there when i found the first one). Before i picked up the second one, I had a look around - half expecting someone to be hiding around the corner with a really long piece of thread but there werent
