Finding old Motherboards :)

Hi Guys

Just wondering if anyone can help me

I have an old rig that aint working properly and i "think" the problem i have is, the motherboard is 95w and i need a 125w (AMD)

I have an old CPU that im trying to get use out of (for my son to use so he keeps off mine lol).

I have a 125w 6400 x2 and need a mother board that would do the job.
However im struggling to find any online as they are old and no one sells them anymore, any help would be apreciated.

Computer fairs are a good bet. there's always a couple of people floggin gold stuff at those.

Plenty of them on the bay. Not always very cheap, though - probably £30 for an AM2 board. You could get a modern mobo, cpu, memory for £100 new.

I have about 4 motherboards in my parents loft, AMD and Intel. Need to dig them out and find out if they're worth anything.

the last AMD board I came across in the loft was A Slot A! good old 1999, the birth of the Athlon.

I think there is also a 286 AT board up there somewhere which I kept just because it wound the missus up. "why dont you throw this old crap away blabla"
