Finding out motherboard

Abit of a silly question I know, but how can I find out what motherboard is in my friends PC? He doesn't know (he was given the PC) with no boxes etc.

The easiest way would be to download CPU-Z and it should be under the Mainboard tab.

Failing that it should be written on the actual board if you open it up.
