finding out when a document was created

Hi there,

Is there any programs or ways that can you can tell when a document was created. Example i have a pdf file that was sent, however the creation date is not included in the properties section when i open up with adobe acrobat?
I realise that you can edit/change the dates you created a file, either by changing the properties or just adjusting the system time on your machine when you create the file.

thanks, is there any other way?

I have 7 documents where the date created, modified and accessed for each document is all set to 02/10/2014 04:24:32 if i look it up the way you said. Could that be the date & time the email these documents attached to was sent out?
